Bookouts in Carbly
Carbly makes it simple for automotive dealers to generate lender bookouts for J.D. Power Values, Kelley Blue Book®, Black Book® and Galves right from their desktop. The process of communcating vehicle valuations to financial institutions has never been easier.
After confirming the correct vehicle options and clicking "Bookout", dealers can include up to two pricing values, edit the dealership name, and include a stock number on the bookout form if desired.

Once you have configured your bookout to conform to your lender's requirements just click "Download PDF" to save it to your computer. You can then print it out (or email it) to include in the deal.
In addition to valuation data, the document also includes the VIN number, year, make, model, trim, odometer, engine specifications, drivetrain specifications, condition, and selected vehicle options.

What is a Bookout?
It is common practice for automotive dealers to arrange financing for their customers when they are purchasing a vehicle. As part of the loan underwriting process, lenders require dealers to submit a bookout for the vehicle that the loan will be secured against to verify its value relative to the proposed loan amount.
Each lender bookout identifies a vehicle by year, make, model, trim and VIN with the precise options that the vehicle is equipped with and displays the specific values from the guidebook required by the individual lender. This allows the bank to confirm that the value of the vehicle is on par with the requested financing.
Carbly provides a bookout feature that allows dealers to generate a PDF file of the bookout that can then be sent to the financial institution as a hard copy, email, or fax.
